  1. unfortunately no, we only brought 1 disposable camera and the photos didnt really turn out. He got him right at sunset in a cove in 8 feet of water directly across from the mountain in the first pic using a yum craw bug.
  2. i know that spot, one of my favorite places to fish for smallmouth! Last time i went i didnt have that much luck because i comitted myself to only using my fly rod, but my buddies got some beautiful ones with the heaviest weighing in at 6lbs.
  3. I was just in Maine a little over a week ago here is what was working: GYCB double tail hula grub Yum crawdads(buddy got a 6lber on one!) 4" tubes Senkos in pumpkin seed Fly rod: Nymphs wooley bugger
  4. congrats! I took a trip up to Maine this past weekend with some buddies and we killed it. My buddy landed a 5.5lber!!! Ill try and get some pics on here, unfortunately all we had was a disposable camera but hopefully i can get them on cd and post them here.
  5. just bougth a 6 weight Orvis clearwater 906-4, my first real fly rod. I am really excited to go for some smallies with my new setup. What weight do most of yall fish with, 6 or 8? I went with the 6 weight because i plan on going for trout too.
  6. I agree, enjoy your time with dad while you have the oppertunity to do so. The man is responisble for giving you life, I think he deserves some fish to eat.
  7. Im not too sure about ponds being smaller than lakes, or only being able to launch a boat in a lake. I fish a pond in Maine that is 12miles by 1mile
  8. I am also in Mass, but i was down on the Cape. Went striper fishing for the majority of the day but after many hours with no luck we moved to a pond around 3pm and killed it. worked the banks and caught 14 bass in 1 hour. Even caught a 6lber. stuck to soft plastics the entire time.
  9. Quick question for you NH guys. I go camping several times a year by Lincoln and havent been able to find any good bass ponds/lakes. Do you guys know any around that area. The camp site is right before the Kancamagus highway off 93. I have found good trout spots but no bass. Thanks for the help!
  10. 2-3 times a week, Saturday+ Sunday from 5-11hrs, week day 1-2 hrs after work
  11. I like both, but prefer to go with a friend. Helps pass those 10+ hour saturdays. Also, my fishing buddies and i are really competitive with each other so it helps keep me motivated to get the bigger fish
  12. cool sounds good, look for a bunch of Massholes wearing Red Sox gear, realtree camo and screaming when they catch even the smallest fish...that will be us
  13. Yeah, some buddies and I are going to be there. For those of you that have rented boats before, realistically what time do you need to get there so that the boats arent all rented out?
  14. I wanted to go to the Maltby lakes, but they are not open yet as you mentioned. I actually went to Lake Wintergreen, no luck but should be a good spot for the future. Thanks guys!
  15. i definitely will. i take a week off in May to do some turkey hunting in CT and since you cant hunt past noon the rest of the day will be dedicated to my other love, bass fishing. Ill send you a pm
