  1. I throw brown and purple most of the time on clear water.
  2. I have been getting them good on big cranks this year also. Specifically the X10. The smallest fish I have had so far was just under 4. Most of them are 5 or better.
  3. When I am deep cranking its generally around rock. Rock and braid don't mix. I am a florocarbin guy when it comes to deep cranks.

You needed the 9inch for first place.
  5. I feel the same way about BPS pricing. Its definitely on the high side. I generally go to them for specific things. I don't want to spend my extra time shopping them so they will price match. TW and local shops get the lying share of my business.
  6. Weights go down in the summer months but the fish are more predictable.
  7. Most revolutionary baits don't sell out of a wallmart and for the most part I could care less what other people are doing. That's not saying I don't try out new things.
  8. I have no idea. Never had a frog spin. What frog is it? The one with the real legs does not help.
  9. Pretty open ended question. Depends on how they are schooling.
  10. There are donkeys in the after bay. Never personally fished it but know people who have.

I generally match it. The reality is it probably matters more to me than the fish. They generally take it pretty fast. I fish craw and bluegill colors.
  12. Its not really that hard to learn how to skip with a bait caster once you have the reel set up right. I am with tourqueconverter on this one. I put all my brakes on with a loose spool. Certain baits skip better than others. I would start with a senko or something else that's easy. I like to have a rod that has some tip to it, in other words a flexability in the tip. The easiest cast for me is a roll cast. The key is making the cast as flat as possible. Think of skipping a rock, same idea.
  13. I guess I don't see it as being all that intellectual when they copied it them selves. This is almost as bad as Micky from 3:16 claiming he invented the piano hinge. Its just to bad the smaller companies don't have the resources to battle it out in court.
  14. It don't stop there, seems like just about anyone making a rat or a glide bait is hearing from him.
  15. I think he should buy at least 3 or 4 swimbait set ups.
  16. Zman has everything to do with it my understanding is d&m got the cease and desist. You should see what is going on in the swimbait world with all the leagal BS.
  17. I can't afford not to have one. To see what those fish are doing, priceless.
  18. Everyone is talking about the baits and all I can think about is that camera.
  19. I see a lot of guys fish a frog way to fast. The other mistake is that they reel in before the cast is over. Unless you have found them up tight finish the cast.
  20. Wonder what tungsten company Denny is sponsored by. Teeth grabbing lead

The deep little N and the DD22 are some of the best cranks around.
  22. There are more big fish than people think there are and they are more predictable than people think.
