I'm sure that the zippers will last a long time if they are not misstreated. I remember testing zippers on tackle boxes at Wal-Mart the other day. I was trying to zip a cover closed on some other brand and I broke the zipper. How did I do it? Answer: I didn't lift the zipper up out of the way of the corner of one of the plastic boxes and therefore forced the zipper to go around too small of a bend radiius.
