  1. I grew up summers on kezar lake ( not really near kezar falls) I lived in brown(town)field for a winter and worked at attitash ski mountain. My sister has a summer place in Bridgton and my parents have a place in Naples. I have a bunch of friends up there one of them has a house in brownfield. Does the pond you fished have a railroad bridge crossing the edge of one side? Lots of little ponds in Brownfield. My buddy lives down the street from a pretty cool little pond has an Island in the dead center that people do "hot laps" around when they water ski. Your friend will know where Kezar lake is just go toward freberg on route 5 take the right on route 302 and stay left past the Fairgrounds...easy as that. Bout twenty five minutes from brownfield (heck it takes 40 minutes up there to make a beer run). Pm me and I will tell you the ways of Kezar it really is an amazing 9 mile lake.
  2. I was just about to start this topic. I did some searching for an hour or so and couldn't come up with anything either. What size rod and what kind of reel? What will you be fishing? Guys I had the same question. I have a zillion on a 6'6" daiwa procaster. I will be fishing lots of weeds lots of brush out of a boat (once I can find my camp under the 3' of snow) Jigs and skirted grubs. Little finesse here and there. Some crank baits. Pretty much all large mouth fishing (I don't turn any other fish away however) my spinner is snowed in at my camp so all I have for the stocked trout around here is my baitcaster. Any help would be great. Im happy I stumbled upon this great forum. Thanks in advance guys!!
  3. If you are ever up in fyeburg ask your buddy to drag the boat over to Kezar lake in lovell. Some big magazine (time?) had it in the top ten most beautiful in the country. Steven king is slowly buying up as much of the lake as possible. Great fishing plenty of coves brook running out of it pleeenty of coves and its 9 miles long. That would be my favorite lake in New England. Oh and PM me and I will tell you my pond "X" in the area ponds not pretty but the fish sure are. You will never want to leave.
