hey everyone, i was hopeing that some of you could give me advice on go to baits this time of year for inland lake largemouths here in michigan? thanks

if i wanna use it for scattered cover and weeds, preferably throwing plastics and jerkbaits what would u say?

I just bought a 6'6" medium power fast action shimano crucial rod and an abu garcia revo sx 6:4:1 what line test, brand, and color would work best?

the lure that i consistently catch brute bass with is original 3/8 oz chatterbaits with a solid color 5" culprit trailer. Fish it deep and slow.

When I fish deep i usually like to run a deep crank, and then when get a bite or catch one, i set up there for a bit and dropshot a beaver and rattle of the same color crank.

ive been messing around with my boxes of spiinerbaits and rigged some of them up with a trailer hook and a trailer(grub). I havent had a chance to give them a try considering there is still ice on the inland lakes here in michigan. But to me the rig seems really chunky and im afraid that i dont have enough exposed hoook, and that if i get hooked up to a fatty the grub and trailer may push the fish off.......ANy comments or tips would be appreciated. thx

last summer i experimented with several different types of scent for bass ranging from yum to bang but didnt find one that stood out in performance.....so..im curiou to know if im missing out on a good one or atleast some suggestions on what to try. thx
