  2. Hi, I grew up in Alaska and lived and breathed to fish. I fished just about everyday during the spring/summer/fall unless work or school prevented me. However Trout and Salmon are alot different then bass and catfish. I have the main jist of it. I use carolina rigs alot, top water frog lures, spinner baits, but have not caught a single fish in 15 trips. It is getting real frustrating as where I grew up I called it *catching not *fishing. I still love to go and just get out, I dont need to catch a bunch of fish to be happy, just one would be nice lol. I dont have a boat so that may be part of the problem. I live in Weatherford, Tx and have went to lake weatherford, sunshine lake, brazos river and a lake near haltom city. I have a friend who is from colorado and is good bass fisherman, but we cant seem to find a location. Please if someone could help me out, I cant drive TOO far but 30+ miles is ok. I just want to catch some fish soooooooo bad as its one of my biggest passion to fish. So if someone could let me know a good freshwater bank fishing spot I would really appresiate it. And if someone has an extra seat on a boat and wouldn't mind me coming along and showing me the tricks of the trade I would buy lunch. Thanks and hope to hear from ssomeone soon.
