  1. The top three lures that give me results in MA are senko worms(watermelon color), Rapalas and the Jitterbug.
  2. Have you tried using a 4" watermelon colored senko. Just let it fall between the lilypads without a weight.
  3. I don't think anyone could really pinpoint a max depth for using soft plastics but I tend to have the most luck using them in less than 10 feet of water.
  4. I fish mostly in the Northeast where average largemouth tend to be about 2-3 lbs. I consider anything over 5lbs a nice fish for my area.

  7. I would try rubber worms in the shallows. Ive had excellent luck with "french fry worms". If you see alot of other people fishing the lake it may just be over fished. My best advice would be to ask other fisherman on the lake what they are using. Keep track of what they tell you. And never use a lure that is on that list. You want to find something new that the bass don't see as often.
