that is a very beautiful fish ead!
  2. I found a nice site to help you locate lakes in your area smizener (there was a link here but im not allowed to post it until i have 10 posts) > they break it down into a couple different regions, with lakes in every region. Hope this helps! okay so im gonna send it i a message to you now lol.
  3. do the bass like the bacon fat flavor? ;D
  4. I think some fishermen don't consider a fishes memory as part of the equation. Rather than intelligence, memory plays a larger part of to eat or not to eat. It is true you can catch the same fish over and over, but I can guarantee atleast a few fish will remember the baits they found a hook in, just like they will remember if a particular bug/bait/etc was a good snack.
  5. if you are pulling those guys out of your backyard pond i'd say you are lucky to have such a close spot to find great bass! I like to mix it up w/ the super flukes. I bounce between a sit on the bottom with occasional tugs to a medium speed retrieve with constant jerks. It is like some others have said though, the fish are the ones who will let ya know which way to use em. nice bass too :-)
  6. I'd say its unlikely I will cut back on fishing trips, however I will probably be asking for more gas money from my friends who come with me. ;D The mileage on my Jeep is terrible but its the only vehicle available that will take me and 3 friends + gear :-/
