Almost all the bass I caught were less than 3' deep. I tried fishing a few deep drop-off's off the main lake thinking that the water is still cold that deep and might be some fish hanging out waiting for the water to warm-up. But no luck with that. I think they are all up in the shallows ready for the spawn. If you get a chance try fishing Tischel Creek right at dusk with a top water Zara or Heddon Topido. I'm going to try to go again this weekend and will let you know how my luck is. One more question.......I want to take my father fishing later this summer when it gets really nice but he wants to catch some small mouth bass. Have you had any luck?? I've been many times in the past with no luck!! Josh

TN basstracker Went Friday night and Saterday afternoon. Had really good luck on 1100 series Bandit Shad color on Friday up until the storm started to roll in. Switched to Top Water Zara Spooks and they really turned on. Couldn't stay to late because the storm was getting close to our dock. Saterday, was a lot slower. Had a lot of bass chase spinner baits, cranks and worms up to the boat. Real slow bite. Did catch a few on top water late in the evening. Caught two bucks that had been working the beds real hard. Both bucks almost didn't have a tail!!! I caught most of the fish this weekend in Tischel Creek. Where would you suggest to fish around at Paris Landing??? Josh

Hey Guys, I just got back into bass fishing after being away for a few years. I'm new to fishing Kentucky lake and haven't had much success. Planning on going this weekend (April 25-27) to Wildcat south of Murray Ky and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me. Thanks in advance. Josh
