  2. I would highly recommend taking a hard look at the legends. there is some truth in the replys you have gotton so far and some myths. But what is sure is that if you are looking for the finest quality boat on the market for a great value Legend is it!! i believe you have dealers in your area and i understand one is coming to Maryland. there are 25 Legend dealers in the US and 3 international. As far as John Story there was never a no comp against what John could design, only that he could not design for 5 years after champion. the Cobras design was so similar to the old 190 Champs...just lighter and faster. There is truth that he did take the 400 series Ranger and Champ 190 and try to blend the 2 as they were the 2 hottest designs during that time. Legend LE series was splashed off the that design, and while it has had a major face lift in the 5 years the company has been building boats, it remains very similar. The Alpha Series is a whole new bird, and incredible. As far as dealers it is nice to have one in your backyard but i know Ranger guys from Colorado that fish the fLW and say they went to TN to get the boat because that dealer takes better care of them from that distance than a local one could. :-/ anyways i have owned 5 out here in Las Vegas we have 4 dealers in the west and you see alot of them now, according to mercury they are the fastest growing Bass Boat co. in 2 decades. they have been in business for over 5 years........ with that said i could go on for hours telling you about these boats, and i wont lie i am the National Advertising Director for Legend so i may be biased ;)but we really are just anglers building really cool boats. if anyone has any questions you can reach me at jamie@legendmarine.com or jamie@basswest.com or heck just call me at 435 559 4690, i think you will find that i love all brands of boats, fishing, and will give you 100% straight answers.
