  1. Nice job guys.................what were you using for jigs?
  2. Way too cool everyone! I have another brush with fame story. I grew up as an Air Force brat and spent most of my youth living in places most people will never see. One spot was Hickam Air Force base in Hawaii (1979). I was 16 and took the beach bus one day to do some body surfing and boogie boarding on a beach that tourists didn't frequent much. After a time in the water, my buddies and I got out of the water to take a break. Right next to us sitting on a beach towel by himself was this friendly guy that offered us some soda out of his cooler. We accepted the offer and we talked to him for quite some time. He had been watching us do our thing in the waves and thought it was pretty cool and wanted to show him how to do it. Wlet him borrow some of our stuff and we taught the guy all we new for about two hours. Great guy! I wish he was still around. The man was Sonny Bono.
  3. Went to Suncook Lake as planned and didn't have much luck. Caught a small smallmouth and one big pickeral. A couple more weeks and we'll all be hauling them in. Can't wait!
  4. That was pretty funny.
  5. Please read the post before replying, but thats for the help anyways! Now that's funny! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Went to Brindle pond this afternoon after the rain stopped and did o.k.......................caught a couple of 2 pound bass and some black crappies. My son got cold and we had to leave. I didn't complain, I was starting to freeze myself. If it doesn't rain tomorrow, we're going on Suncook lake. I'm thinking about bringing a wood stove with me. LOL
  8. Welcome Steve.................from central New Hampshire...........where men are men and the sheep are scared. ;D
  9. If you liked Death wish you'll love Chrles Bronson in "The Mechanic". Great movie about a hitman. You need to rent that one!

    Go on.............please..............go on.
  15. You're welcome Jaystraw. If you're gunning for smallies, try Upper Suncook lake (Barnstead) and Manning lake in Gilmanton. Lots of rock piles and drop offs. Great fishing.

I know this is an old post but I couldn't help myself by adding to it. There is some more recent news about the Patriots cheating by filming hand signals as far back as 2000. If in fact this is true, I have no respect for the Patriots coaches or the management. All their wins mean nothing. They will go down in history as the team that cheated the fans and the sport. Just my 2 cents.
  18. 47 going on 15.
  19. Drew Lake is very easy to get to. Instead of taking a right to Stumpfield boat launch take a left and drive down to the fork in the road and bear left. Drew Lake will be on your right.
  20. You can use it anywhere. Weeds, stumps, around structure, under docks.................you name it.
  21. I like it when he has guests fishing with him. Other than that he gets to be annoying after a few minutes.
  22. How far north are we asking about?
  23. I've fished Drew Lake a couple of times and had some good luck catching large mouths. I'm not too sure about smallies though. Stumpfield has some great fishing, you should give it a shot. There's some good size lunkers in there.
  24. Jay and wagn...........................have you ever tried Drew Lake? It's near Stumpfield.
