I live very near both of those lakes. Both are good. You could also try Suncook lake in Barnstead. Very good fishing!

Hey dunnr40, just curious how Locke Lake was for fishing? I was on Suncook at 4:00 a.m. this morning and had a great day. I caught most of my bass before 6:00 a.m........................left the water around 10 and called it a day.

I noticed that the majority of the gun toters are from the south. I've always thought that the friendly folks lived down there. Is it that bad that you feel you need to bring a gun when you go fishing? That's pretty sad.

I'm having very good luck with them myself. I'm also having good luck with Zoom frogs as well. I'm catching alot of bass with them.

see if you can find some prussian blue, it stains the skin and does not come off for weeks. -searoach I don't think you can get that stuff anymore. That stuff is brutal!!! I put that stuff on the two pads that rest on your nose of your safety glasses. That was back in the eighties when I was much younger and alot more evil in my pranks. The guy was pretty ticked off. He never found out who did it. That prank still bothers me all these years later. It was a rotten thing to do.

Are you renting a place there? It's a man made lake and the water is very murky and shallow. They tell me it's not very good for fishing. I've never fished it before because there's no public boat launch. You have to be a Locke lake association member. If you have a boat, you'll be better off fishing Suncook lake or Barnstead Parade dam. Good luck.

I have a 14' boat with a 6hp johnson and a 55lb trolling motor. This guy I know went into the Navy and he needed to get rid of it. Picked it up for a 1000 bucks. I can't seem to stay off the water now. WAGN is right, it's addicting and makes the fishing that more fun.

Why do you pick on a man that just caught the crabs? Be more sensitive. Congrats on catching the crabs WTRDOG. LOL
