repair question
Does anyone know what guides are used on this rod? It's a 08 Kistler LTA 7' XH. The rings are metalic blue. Batson and Pacific Bay make something that could be what I am looking for. What size would I need?

repair question
Looks like all I have to do is heat it up and it should come off(should have read whole article the first time). Now to get ahold of kistler and see if I can get a new tip. Thanks guys.

repair question
It is a Kistler LTA. Is it easy to remove the tip from the rod? I do not mind doing things myself, but would rather not screw up this otherwise nice rod. Looks like I will try calling the local bait shops around town and see what/who they suggest. Thanks for all the suggestions.

repair question
Thanks for the help, but not really what I was looking for. I will need to have the old tip removed and a new one put on and was hoping somebody here could point me in the right direction. I would like to it look "stock" and know I do not have the skills to do so. I purchased it through the flea market part of this board.

repair question
I had the guide insert(ring?) break, on the tip of the rod, during shipping. Is this something a custom builder could repair? Any idea on a price? Anyone know any good builder in the Muskegon Michigan area? Is there a list of rod builders anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Problems setting the hook with jigs
When my line starts moving, I reel down and set the hook. If you think he does not have the whole bait in its mouth, wait a bit. It Could also be a sunfish/bluegill nipping at your trailer.

So, my 1 piece rod is now a 2 piece rod...Suggestions???
I would contact Bass Pro and see about getting it replaced. That way, when you purchase a new setup, you will have two different rods/reels to enjoy.

What Rod and reel $200 limit?
I would look at BPS website and if you find deals print them out. When I was at BPS I found the online prices to be better, but they wanted proof to honor the prices.

Rod for plastic swimbaits?
Looking for opinion on a rod for plastic swimbaits like the Berkley Hollow belly and Yum Money Minnows. Would it be the same type of rod used with hard swimbaits? I was hoping to get a spinning rod, but I am not against a casting rod. Thanks in advance. Chad

What are you guys catching them on lately?
I can't post links yet, or I would. Its a Berkley Sinking Minnow. Pearl/silver color. Fishing it weightless in/over lily pads.
