Bass Books
I've been bass fishing for quite some time now, but I want to learn a little more and start fishing tournaments. I just bought the two books by KVD and read them. Does anyone have any other recommendations for other good Bass fishing books?

Getting Started With Crankbaits
I am fairly new to crainkbait fishing. I've always had a couple but never used them. Then I was out fishing last weekend and heard they were working well. I threw one on and started catching fish. My question is this. I'm looking to go out and purchase an assortment of cranks to carry in my box from Bass Pro. What would you recommend to buy as a solid base for someone getting started. There are like 50 million different ones out there so I'm just looking for a little guidance. I fish mostly in Missouri at Lake of the Ozarks, Mark Twain, and farm ponds. I'm looking to spend somewhere in the $50-60 range. I know that could only be like 10 cranks, but it is a start. Thanks, Steve

Co Angler Tournaments Missouri
I am looking for a tournament that has Co-Angler spots available since I don't have a boat. Does anyone know of tournaments like this in Missouri? Or also if there is a website for Missouri that lists all of these. Thanks, Steve

Mounting A Fishfinder on a John Boat
I am about to buy a Fishfinder for a 15" John Boat. I wasn't sure what my options were for mounting. I've seen those mounts that they have at Cabelas, but I want something a little more permanent. Is there a website out there that gives you a little more direction for installation?

Lures for Buffalo River Arkansas Smallies
Well just got back from the float on the lower buffalo this weekend. The weather was awesome. The rain that was suppose to hit us this weekend completely missed and the water level was great. We didn't have to stop and walk once during the trip. Now to the good stuff, the fishing. We did really well on 3 inch tubes in Green Pumpkin and 2.5in crawbugs also in green pumpkin. During the evening time I caught a couple on a 1/8 oz white buzzbait too. I'm not very confident in fishing rapals but I put one on for a while and caught some fish. We didn't really hook into any monsters, and the fishing today was really slow right before we hit the White. The biggest one we caught was about 14 inches. We caught most of them around the fast moving water or rocky banks. I wouldn't even waste your time at the sandy banks. Quick question. When did they start letting you bring motors on the lower stretch? I think they should go back to the old rule of no motors. Also a word of warning, the White river is really cruising right now. We made it across fine to the White River Resort, but the boat behind us flipped over. They even had all the generators shut down today for something at Gastons. It might be worth floating down the extra couple miles until the next take-out.

Lures for Buffalo River Arkansas Smallies
I'm heading down to float the last 24 miles of the Buffalo River in 2 weeks and I was wondering if anyone could recommend what to use. I've heard that tubes work really well but wasn't sure about what colors work. I was also thinking about getting some Yum Crawbugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
