right right thanks i just wanted to make sure the head color wouldn't throw the bait off thanks

well i mean is gonna work consistatly or did i just get lucky?

i have these 2 spinnerbaits. one has a bright yellow head with red eyes and a torn up skirt the other has a black and silver skirt and a broken hook. i came up with the idea of taking the torn up skirt of the spinner with the yellow head and putting on the black and silver skirt. so now i have a spinnerbait with a bright yellow head with red eyes and a black and silver skirt. oh and it is a single colorodo blade. so i took it out fishing today and i caught a 13 incher on the first cast. thats my biggest bass ever by the way. so anyway i caught that but nothing else for the whole day. my question is will this combo work or not?

they have probably been attack by some predatory bird or maybe a turtle or another fish my best guess is they were attacked by some other predator as far as the holes go maybe they were snagged or maybe some preadator did this to or if the mom bass was a smoker they could be birth defects

why is it that small mouths live in lake but they don't live in small ponds?? i have smallies in a lake by me but i never see them in small ponds not farm ponds just the public ponds where all the ducks live and the bass don't grow big

dark colors in dark water because the bass's eye sees the outline outline of the bait better for some reason but raul was right clear water= clear colors dark water =dark colors

thanks i'm gonna be going after the bass though but on a bad bass fishin day its fun to tie on a road runner or beetle spin and catch huge pumpkinseed i'll have to get a couple rooster tails. any thing else as far a bass lures goes thanks. i never thought thats bass would eat any crankbaits cause there are no natural schooling bait fish or anything cuz they can't survive. also is there any way i can't make the bass population go up? thats easy i would prefer a method that doesn't envolve killing anything i just don't have the heart i would feel guilty forever lol thanks again

what do you guys recommend for fishing small public ponds you know the ones that are over run with bluegills and pumpkinseeds and they eat all the bass eggs and none of them hatch

sega bass fishing duel is great its so funny what the guy says when you get a 20 pounder you take it in the boat and hes like SUPER BIG! its so funny

ahh yes yard fishing great times but nothing beats the real thing i think you would all agree

i was watching a muskie fishing show once and the were using those long nets because they were huge musky and they said use rubber because it doesn't taake as much of the slime coating off and also i saw on that site that glenn posted it says use black or dark colors to keep the fish calm and in turn it won't flop around so it won't wipe the slime coating off and it also isn't as stressed or anything. just a couple of thought in essay form sorry i just got out of school what can i say i was taking fina;s for two weeks ;D great idea though KU

maybe they aren't yawning at all maybe they are just rotating or moving the food they just ate? i don't really know i'm just using my common sense as best i can

maybe he yawns when he eats pellets because they are hard and he is grinding them on his teeth to try and crush it up. ohh man all this talk about yawning is making me yawn lol i must have yawned three times reading this board lol

lol same wehen your top water fishing you know what scares the hell out of me. at the pond i fish there are 5432765765874683653756543764543 frogs and whe you are walking they jump and make that really loud screech it starteles you and it ticks me off so much i'm like F%$#!*& frogs > > lol ;D

if you have IO go to channel 407 and 408, 407 is the outdoor network so it has hunting and fishing on all the time but 408 has some fishing. look at 407 when you need your fix ;D

what is CPR?

i think it happens sometimes because i was fishing the other day with three people in cluding me. we all caught the same bass. it was a little guy and my brother said that maybe it was getting pushed around by all the bigger fish because it was eating everything we threw. this is a 4 inch fish eating huge crank baits. so my brother thinks it was either the fish was so hungry because all the other fish didn't give him a chance to eat, i on the other hand think it was because he was young and didn't relize he could barly fit it in his mouth. my guess is based an the fact that the baby sunnies are trying to eat huge crankbaits.

i've heard smallmouth are fun to catch gotta try it! ;D
