  1. Completely new to fishing..need advice and help.

    I have decided to get involved in fishing, specifically bass fishing. I live in upstate NY, Broome County. I have about $100 for an open headed reel and rod, not including everything else. I need a good beginners set up. Also, I have no clue what to use for lures and baits as well as what weight/color of the fishing line.. Also, any upstate NYs know of any good fishing spots that are popular? Thanks for helping this newbie. Jay 8-)
