  1. G. Loomis SMR814C and musky fishing

    hi, G Loomis SMR814C-CB have normal guides? how do you think - does G Loomis SMR814C-CB rod - dedicated for smallmouth bass and crankbaits will be good for fishing musky? I use all variety of baits - jigs, crankbait, spoon, jerkbaits in weights from 5/8oz to 2oz. I use Shimano Curado 201dhsv with SW stealth 20lb line. Rather finesse then strenght. I encounter musky over 15lb. I can have this rod for resonable price. I like the action, which i think will be better for my type of fishing, but I want to know the oppinion of expierenced anglers. Thank you.
