Strike King Wake Shad
I just make to sure to use accurate casts and work it along the edges. Since I made the post I've had a lot of success around weedlines and stumps. Make several casts in the same promising areas and the fish will come out.

Fish Camps/Lodges on Lochloosa
I'm glad to hear all that. My dad and uncle are always talking about how Lake Jackson was just an unbelievable lake. I guess it's done for good? Or is it supposed to fill back up eventually?

Father's Day is comin up, lookin for a place to fish
I live in Jacksonville and my dad and I are looking at going to a new lake. We fish Rodman pretty regularly, and we've been to the Harris Chain in the past. The one thats catching my eye at the moment is Orange/Lochloosa. Any opinions and/or advice?

Back from the store
I usually go down to trout creek or back near Clarks fish camp. I live in Mandarin so I'm not too far from the creeks. I don't really like fishing the river, it's iffy at best. As far As the salinity levels are concerned, bass can pretty much adapt to anything. Of course they prefer fresher water but you can still find them on the main river.

Flying out to a wedding in OK
I'm flying out to Edmond Oklahoma today and will be there till sunday. Looking to get a little fishing in. Probably gonna go to Wes Watkins. I really have no clue what to expect but I want to go somewhere where I can possibly rent a boat. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Thanks for the tips. Now does anyone have any advice on getting the bass out of the mats? It seems like for every one I catch I lose two.

Mat Predicament
The question is: Is it better to punch a mat or work on top of it? I somehow managed to sit through and watch one more cast with shaw grigsby. In between his annoying spurts of calling fish "pigs" and "toads" and "tanks" he actually got me thinking about the Strike King Rage toad. Recently I've been trying to punch through mats with a t-rigged chigger craw but Shaw was throwing a Rage Toad on top of the mats and pulling out plenty of "tanks." Opinions?

baitcaster VS spinning
Its not too hard to learn how to use one, just take it out for some practice and see how it goes. I have a quantum bc that I love and a few others, it just takes some getting used to
