I'm gonna be heading to college at CSU June 29. I'll be on the football team so I was wonderin if anyone could give me the names of some of the best lakes/rivers close to the Charleston area. Somewhere where I can get a morning trip in and still make it back to practice. Also, what works best?

When fishing larger lakes this time of year are spinnerbaits an effective way of luring bass out and covering water or is there a better method. (southeast)

Has anybody had success with these things? I sure haven't. I can't seem to get a bite on a chatterbait either. Any tips on when and where to fish these?

Does anyone recomend using a rat-l-trap anymore or are they old fashioned?

I just fished Lake Harris in Eustis, FL, and it was apparent that the lake had been subjected to heavy fishing pressure. Can I expect the same from Lake George or is the bass fishing alright?
