  1. Thank you, Rusty! Very informative and detailed information. I appreciate all your time! Being able to throw a 1/16 shows its range. The main reason I want this rod is to be able to throw 1/8-1/4oz's as far as I can. This is so I can finesse on the toughest days. I have a new Shimano Vanford 4000 with 10lb Daiwa J-Braid to pair with it.
  2. What weights are you able to throw with this rod and what weights do you think it specializes in? I'm considering the 8'6" rod but it should very similar.
  3. How did you end up liking the rod for the purpose?

  5. Hi all. I am seeking your opinions because the local stores do not carry the two rods that I am favoring. These two rods are the "St. Croix Avid AVS70MF2" and the "Lamiglas G12150." I'm liking these two because they are both 7 footers, can be broken in two pieces, and seem to be light and sensitive. I will mostly be using rubber worms and various spinner baits. Any opinions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
