  1. ok ok, so il stick to crankbaits and plastics than.
  2. ah i see, well is anyone using the poppers? any luck with those? or just stick to senkos and cranks?
  3. thank you, but is it better to let it rise to the top where you can see it after u stop reeling or reel it for a certain ammount of time and have a clock in your head of when to reel again? i'm fishing mainly 5ft of water. not sure if thats crankbait type water but i thought i'd give it a shot.

  5. ok i'll try that too. i also found i texas rigging set lying around. not too old. thought i'd also give those a try, they look promising enough.
  6. thanks so far guys ive seen RW's link before and didn't understand a thing he said..anyone wanna simplify for me? its not that im new to the sport ive been fishing for atleast a good 9-10 years. but im not a huge lure buff or anything. so please clairfy? **EDIT** also anyone think topwater baits will work? besides the depth is only 5ft
  7. i live in quincy illinois and was wondering how to land those hard to get bass on land. theres a few ponds to fish here nothing to big or great. but the pond im fishing has bass, grass carp, and bluegill and other assorted small fish. These bass are stubborn. i caught one with a live worm but it was within sight and it was mostly dumb luck. the other i almost caught but the line broke and that was with a small blue gill. Any tips on getting these bass to bite lures? What are the right lures to use? (ive never caught a bass at that pond with a lure, as i said they're stubborn). P.S. if it matter the max dpeth from what ive herd is 5ft and this pond isnt that small its a good size...just not too deep.
