How many do you catch on average?
On an average day, anywhere between 6-10 at my favorite spot. Usually from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

what pound test for bass?
I usually stick with 8-12 lb test stren original myself. I keep my drag set fairly light and rarely loose a lure, even on tough snags.

If you could only have 5 lures
1. Kelly's purple Pier Boy special worm (go figure) 2. Kelly's purple/red fire tail worm 3. Blue/silver Rat-L-Trap 4. Xshad rap 5. Booyah black/blue chatterbait

jet skis are out .....
Jet skis and water sport boaters are exactly the reason I dislike fishing the lake my father lives on. When the water is high and a no wake is enforced is when I love to fish it. And one more thing. Is a pontoon boat with more than 40 horses necessary? Sometimes I think people are trying to prove they have the fastest lounge boat on the lake, biggest I've seen is 125 horses on one and the wake is tremendous.

Are you more successful with plastics??
Where I do most of my fishing (almost daily) soft plastics work great. Usually its a 5 1/2" worm with mustard hooks, or a twister tail grub with a 3/8 oz standup jig head works great fishing deeper. If one isn't working, the other is.

Hey everyone! New to the forum.
Thanks for the welcome guys. Just got back from doing a little evening fishing and pretty much got tired of taking bass of the worm. Ended up with 7 that were all around 2 pounds, and 1 that was pushing 4. I'm just happy to see that the bass are finally off their beds around here and are hungry as hell.

Hey everyone! New to the forum.
What's up everyone. New guy to this forum. Been fishing since I can remember. And I didn't quite start with a snoopy pole. It was Donald Duck. Haha! Been lurking for about a month and finally decided to register. Wanted to drop in and say hello.
