Thanks for all the info guys. It does seem like about the same thing, I mean fish can't be that different just because im on the other side of the planet. ;D You never can be too sure though. I went down there again on Sat and there is just SSOOOO much algae on the bottom its just not even funny. I don't know, I was thinking of trying Lake Poway and Dixon maybe there is less algae.

HI this is my first entry, just wanted to see if anyone else fishes Lake Hodges? I Have been bass fishing for well over 15 years but only in my home country South Africa. And i don't quite know if the bass here like the same stuff and hide in the same type of places. I don't have a boat yet so I'm shoring it. Also I don't know the lake so i don't know where the "Holes" and drop offs are. I usually try the South most side of the lake and have caught a handful but no real consistency. I was really just hoping someone with some experience at Hodges could say try this try that, try it here try it there. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Good luck out there 8-)
