  1. Wow, second page without a reply. I didint even think thats possible ;D
  2. Clearwater, you generally stay with the green and more natural colors, murky and dark you can use bright colored lures. Although i would be more worried about your presentation as thats what triggers the strike.
  3. Yikes, 40 and 50 LBS test. You can pull a car up out of the bottom with that stuff. Whats your reasons?
  4. Its a d**n shame what people will put in the water. There should be no excuse to dump an Oscar in a pond. Cook it up and eat it if you can't care for it.
  5. Yikes, i was wondering why this thing was so much... If that thing snags i'm jumping in
  6. A buddy of mine had some packages of softbaits in his garage and i was looking threw them. He then urged me to take a few. I ended up getting out of the heap one of those Manns's hard nose SW toads. Man if i didint read i would already be out looking for bass. They do really look like a FW softbait and i think they will do just fine. Really what kind of toad lives in SW? I was thinking of setting it up with like a 2/0-3/0 wide gap hook and texas rigging it? and maybe use it for jigging? I mean how would you present this? I'm dying to catch a nice bass so i can have a picture of the bait he gave me hanging out of its mouth.
  7. So what do you guys prefer? Mono or Fluorocarbon? Man, looking over at my rod right now, with no lure on the end. The stuff just looks nasty! all curled up. Just ticks me off.
  8. Every line i use ends up being crap in a few weeks. I just spooled up my baitcaster about 3 weeks ago and its already kinked and twisted in the shape of the spool. Does all line do this? I'm thinking about getting the braided line, but not to sure how well it would do on a casting reel. Oh and besides when i'm fishing, it stays out of the sun.
  9. I have been dying to dry those rage tail shads, any info on what you used for a hook? Oh and how heavy are they? I'm hoping ill be able to get a good cast with my casting reel.
