  1. Lago di Lugano would be another good choice, it's only 50 miles from Milano - but I don't know professional guides in this area.
  2. Thank you for the replys! Are (belly)boats forbidden in all your dams? What town would be a good "base" for a bass-safari in cyprus? Tight lines, AL
  3. There are really some horrible pictures in this thread - but nice to see that the water levels went back to normal again. How is the fishing in December/January in your dams? I am looking for a nice bass spot to hide away during the Christmas holidays... Cheers, Albrecht
  4. This fish made it also to our newspapers (about a year ago). I remember that it was caught with a net... European Catfish grow longer than this Mekong Cat.
  5. Hi Vyron, my 1st choice would be a deps Dom Driver paird with a conquest 400 - but the rod is 6,2' without handle. :-/ The deps Slap Shot would also make a great stick for medium size swimbaits (and its under 6'). St.Croix has at least one 1-piece Musky Rod (PM70HF2) but I have never fished this stick.
  6. Hi Max, there are (at least) 2 and 1/2 Bassfishermen in Austria!
  7. Hi Fellows, my name is Albrecht, and I'm a Bass-addict. We don't have to many Bass lakes in our country, but Switzerland, Italy, Kroatia or France are not far away... Besides casting lures I also like chasing Trout and Grayling with the flyrod.
  8. Hi, i have not caught a Nile Perch by myself, but friends told me that they fight rather lame (one run, a few jumps and they are out of power)... They used the same tackle (for shore fishing) as for Northern Pike. What is yout rod-length limit?
