My friend said that bass are scared of steel, so they dont bite on my line alot ..... OKay.... I have regular clear line with a 5 inch long steel connector bracket line, that connects different lures without re-tying a knot. So im just wondering if bass are afraid of the steel? If so should i take it off or if my friend is wrong?!

Im trying to catch bass and I dont really know how big my hook should be.. :-[ >>> my hook is about this big > | | with a 3/4 inch hook width. Or should i use this hook | | with a smaller width. :-/

I am using a plastic worm for catching bass, on a texas rig set-up. I use a throw and reel in technique. I usually go fishing around 6-8pm, but i am catching nothing >... I wonder what im doing wrong...? p.s. i know that the lake has bass :-/

Im new to fishing... >>>>Are bobbers only used with live bait? :-[
