A big thanks to all. Hey I caught my first bird today while casting. He wasn't very happy

Yeah I was in the Air Force with the base lake in my backyard. I'd watch people bring in some real nice hogs while I sat at the dinner table with no gear to fish with. :'( I would only fish when I came home to FL, I still kick myself for all those years of being Bass deprived. Hey Thanks! You're from KC huh? I just moved from Whiteman AFB MO. I used to go the KC to see life. ;D I didn't fish one day of my 6 years there for some weird reason.

Hello all, I've been lurking around the forum for quite some time now. I've been fresh water fishing since I can remember. So who else is around Punta Gorda/ Port Charlotte FL area? Love the forum a lot, everyone seems to be pretty helpful.
