  1. I bought mine for $80 earlier this summer and haven't had any problems with it yet. A great reel for the price i got it.
  2. I LOVE my bionic plus baitcaster. casts great has plenty of power and I think is just an awesome reel for the price. I highly reccomend it.
  3. i prefer the sunglasses at my local QT for $14.99
  4. When i very first started i would only get a little backlash here and there but i cant but ive only had to change line 3 times. the first time i got stuck in a tree on my backswing but unknowingly i still casted as if it didnt. the second time i was casting over the street in my front yard and a car was driving by and i didnt see it so the weight hit the car in mid flight (lucky i was using a rubber casting weight ). the third time my friend tried to use it while i wasnt watching.
  5. Ive had both and ive got a lot more fish on the junior. its littler and more fish bite on it i think. instead of it being big and intimidating. btw i dont have any weights on the junior and can still cast it a mile.
  6. I wacky rig these with a gamakatsu finesse wide gap 1/0 or 2/0. works great.
  7. i bought the energy pt on sale for $99 and i love it. its really smooth and casts great, i can only imagine the tour edition would be twice as good.
  8. Well obviously most people are saying the shimano crutial but has anyone actually had experience with both a powell and crutial? cuz on tackle tour i was checking reviews and the powell was better than the crutial and that was made when it was priced at 170 but now its 140. i havent really heard much about powell though but im very interested and everyone seems to just love the crutial. i think i may just buy one of both and compare and then return the one i dont like.
  9. That is a great suggestion! luckily the nearest bass pro is not more than 20 minutes from my house so ill be sure to head down there soon and try some of these rods out. So far the crucial sounds like a good choice but im definitely going to take my time cuz im trying to make this is my last major fishing purchase until next spring. but i dont know if i can hold off til then . Also I looked on tackle tour and those Powell rods got a pretty darn good review and an editors choice mark. Does anyone have any advice on these Powell rods??
  10. Im looking for a new rod but am kind of money tight so what do you guys think would be the best rod for around 150 dollars or less? I want a rod that will perform very well and is the best in the price range. Also Im probably going to use it for working jigs and stuff. thanks
  11. mojo rig? sweet beaver? :-? :-? :-? :-?
  12. wow thanks! ;D that covers just about everything, except for the whole "pig" thing. or is using a jig and using a jig and pig the same thing?
  13. My friend is always talking about them and im not sure what it is exactly, only that it involves a jig. What is a jig and pig and how would I use one?
