    We have them in Hawaii (Lake Wilson) among other places. Legendary fighting ability. My mother was very partial to how they taste. That was a long time ago so I don't remember, but I keep hearing that they taste great. One thing though, we don't call them Peacock Bass, somehow or another we call them Tucanare (or "Tooks" for short), which is what the Natives in the Amazon call them.
