It depends on the State you live in. In NJ, any boat under 12ft does not need to be titled, but needs to be registered (there are other specifics, but this one is specific to your question). Check with your DMV or similar State agency. Good luck with the boat purchase.

Anybody in NJ catching some serious lm or fish in general? What baits are you throwing? With the water temp coming down, I figured it to be feeding time - not too much action on my end. Throwing lots of cranks and spinners, with a mix of plastics too. Any suggestions?

I just picked up a mint 10ft Jon for $20 (friend's father passed away). Any suggestions as far as TRANSOM mounted power (i.e. electric/trolling motor) - brand/thrust etc... It will be used primarily on small to medium sized lakes and ponds - no current/tides to contend with. Thanks much!

Just over either bridge (CB or WW) in Gloucester or Salem Counties. There are some great ponds and lakes for shore fishing. Google bass fishing in either of the counties and you'll get some results. Good luck.
