I was in my options trying to fix my clock(lol)

My father did'nt enjoy fishing till he was older, I tought him everything he knows(lol). We went up to grand lake last year we we're fishing with rapalas #9 floating minnows we probably were there for 15 minutes tops when he I heard him say oh s#!t! I said did you get snagged he said I hooked myself I thought he was joking sure enough he had the rear treble in his coat the other in his middle finger. I forgot my multi tool at my truck so I had to run about a mile back to get it I drove as close as I could ran back cut it loose from his coat. I said lets go home he insisted I keep fishing and he would get it out. So now I am back fishing he says got it,I run over to see he cut the hook out I still can't believe he cut it out.

My grandfather and grandmother got me started as a kid, I remember leaving before sunrise those are the best memories I have as a kid. I take my boys as much as I can hope they say the same down the road.

I have a rewards card it is not a credit card it accumulates 2% of each dollar you spend at bps.

I e-mailed falcon, got a response the same day from their general manager. We spend alot of money with these companies the least they can do is return an e-mail. I believe it shows customer appreciation. Ben

Well you guys are absolutely correct 4 boys are a handful. Luckily my oldest is 15 he is zach90 on the board he is a good kid and he is an even greater help. I drop him and his 6yr old brother off in the summer at our local pond they stay there all day, up to three times week. My other 2 boys are 2 and 10mos not ready to get out there yet. cart7, I fish the canal between shadow mountain & grand lake in spring. I live in thornton it is a good distance but I have fished those lakes since I was a kid so I keep on going, some awesome veiws there. The lake was full this year, for the first time in years. Do you still live in CO?

I am thinking about taking my sons ice fishing and I need some advice. 1. Do you think it is a good idea to take children(safety factor) 2. If you think it is safe how should I dress me and them I am in Colorado and I plan to go to granby reservoir a high elevation lake. My main concern is safety my boys are 15 and 6 so if you have any advice please fill me in on anything you believe would be helpful, thanks in advance

I would have to rate myself on a few levels, here they are. tackle=7 confidence=6 commitment=7 actual abilities=3 I am fairly new to bass fishing and I have trouble locating them, but I know inside I have the potential to be a good bass fisherman. I have fished trout most of my life and I can honestly say I am good at catching and locating them. I would like to answer this question again next year to see where I have progressed.

I'm from Denver,CO the best places to fish for bass here are private ponds. I frequently go to a private lake in Windsor,CO 25+ fishing day are not uncommon.
