Frustrated!!! Please Help
I was T-Rigging with a 2/0 hook for both the 4 1/2 an 6 inch worms with tip exposed. I liked the previous reply for a scented Powerbait worm. I have never used any scented products. Any suggestions on what to try??

Frustrated!!! Please Help
I do not fish plastic worms alot but I have a new worm/color that has been getting alot of action. Although I am catching some fish, I am missing a ton!! I was using a six inch but have moved to 4 1/2 inch to try to improve my catches and short strikes. My question is sometimes I feel I am moving the worm to much or to fast. and sometimes maybe I am moving it too slow(eveyone says slow!!) I also feel maybe I am acting to quick or aggresive to the initial bump. Maybe not aggressive enough. Any suggestions or advice?? Some of the bites/hits may be smaller pan fish that are prevalent in the lake. Thanks in advance for any advice!!! PS-The killer was last night I called it a day after numerous bites. Not one minute later a guy pulls in a 5 pounder from the exact spot I was fishing. AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Puzzled!!
One of the problems is I fish in a private lake and can only fish in two places, so I am very limited. There is very limited cover in these locations as well. But I've always had good success in the past until the last thirty days. Thats why I was curious about water temp, barometric pressure, moon cycles, time of day, etc. Will it get worse as we get farther into the winter(San Diego??) season?? I have also noticed that the blue gill, which the bass feed on, are much less plentiful as well. I'm just trying to learn!!

Puzzled!!
I am a relatively new bass fisherman and I am puzzled. I live in San Diego and recently the fish in the lake where I fish have quit biting. Being new, I am trying to understand why. Same location, bait, time of day, etc. In the summer I would get dozens of bites but now if I'm lucky two or three. Is it because the nights are cooler and the water temp cooler or something else. Any suggestions for greater success?? I am just trying to understand what is going on and improve. Thanks!!!

Live Nightcrawlers--Weedless???
I have had very good luck with live nightcrawlers in my lake. However, there are some areas that have weeds, rocks, etc. that look very promising but I get hung up dragging the bottom with a hook/nightcrawler. I have even tried a bobber to keep it off the bottom to prevent snags. Is there a way to fish live nightcrawlers weedless?? Do weedless hooks work?? Any other ideas?? Thanks for all the help on my "novice" questions!!

Murkey/Dirty Water--Advice
I fish in a lake that is very murky/dirty but has some HUGE bass. I have good luck using nightcrawlers but lures have been hit or miss. The problem is the nightcrawlers really attract bluegill which is a pain. Can anyone suggest the best bass lure AND color for murky water. As usual--Thanks!!!

Fat Ika Question for Roadwarrior or??
HELP!! I went fishing yesterday and had a HUGE probem. I was using a Fat Ika with a Texas rig. I had a fish start to swim aggressively with the bait. I went to set the hook and I lost the fish. Very discouraging!! This happened three more times in the next 1/2 hour. I finally did a reverse Ika and immediately caught a bass. My question for Roadwarrior or anyone else is I am relatively new to the Fat Ika. What coud I possibly be doing wrong to miss so many fish in such a short period?? The only thing I can think of is that maybe I had the actual hook too close to the middle of the Ika and the fish had only the tail of the Ika in it's mouth when it took off with the lure. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank You!!
