  1. I have a few beerrs, then post in the wrong place on hereeerre... ;D
  2. Sorry guys, Rookie mistake :
  3. It HAS to be Cali. With all those hugh bass being caught every spring, there's no dought those boys will hook into another 25 pounder again. It may not happen soon, but it WILL happen, and when it does, it will be in Cali.
  4. These are all good starting points, but the "best" is to go to a fishing site (like this one), find out if anyone is fishing the body of water you want to try, and ask the right questions and you will get the right answers. This will save you HOURS of searching around. Of course, this only works if they want to give you the "right" info... But HEY, us bass fishermen NEVER lie to each other, right..... ;D
  5. I'm already starting to order some custom painted swimbaits. This cold and snow kills me, but I love the spring, summer and fall up here, so I put up and shut up because my wife is tired of me asking to move "every" winter... ;D I read and re-read Bassmasters and go on-line to find some tackle. Then when I'm REALLY bored, I take a Dremel and start stripping down older cranks and top waters and repaint them. Made one that I used to win a tournament "once"... ;D 16 weeks and counting, spring will be back
  6. Thank you guys very much. You can always tell a "true" friendly site by the welcomes, and this is one of the best. Hey black bass, I have a friend down in Texas that I try to get to every couple of years and fish Rayburn. I've been there twice and did good. LOVE TEXAS..... but hate the "fire ants"... ;D
  7. Hi everyone, I'm Dave from MAINE, and love nothing better then to be out in the boat catching hungry bass "whenever".... there's no ice... ;D Looking forward to being a part of this great site. I think I was born with a bass rod in my hand and have been at it for almost 35 years.(Im now 44) NOTHING compares to fighting a big bass. Trout and salmon are "fun" but we don't have to many tournaments for those up here... ;D 2009 season is now here, and I hope everyone has a great time on the water. If you come to MAINE, I'll see you there...... 8-)
