  1. I would not be to concerned, but I would not be putting the lead in my mouth like some of these guys have said. 8-)
  2. I'm with most of the guys here on this thread. I would have to say it imtates a bluegill or a sunfish. 8-)
  3. Post this in the Southeast Bass Fishing section and you will get a lot more replies. 8-)
  4. I got some from Gander Mountain right when I started fishing but after I used them in my Grandma's pond I never even looked at them again. I also remember the retrieve was very weird looking, of course that could be a good thing when your talking about bass fishing. 8-)
  5. My favorite color is Gold with Black Clear flake. 8-)
  6. Did you keep her? 8-)
  7. I would put that under "Everything Else". 8-)
  8. I have to magic swimmers and they swim very nicely. The only complaint I have is that they sink to slowly. 8-)
  9. My favorite would have to be the original Rat-L-Traps. 8-)
  10. For my 10.5" old monster worms I use a Owner 7/0 offset oversize worm hook. They are on Tackle Warehouse if you are interested.
  11. Oh. Are you talking about Berkeley Chigger Craws? 8-)
  12. Those do look like nice jigs have you tried the Bass Snacks trailers to go with the jigs? 8-)
  13. I use 30# pound braid for football jigs in open water. For Texas rigs I use 15# flourocarbon.
  14. I would definetly have to say that Owners are the number 1 brand of hooks on the market today. 8-)
  15. I would have to say Quantum rod and a Quantum reel. Not sure of exact specs but it is really nice!!! 8-)
  16. I would have to say the internet also. 8-)
  17. Mine would probably have to be about 5. I caught it on a t rigged zoom trick worm pitchin to the docks.
  18. So what is all the craze about these line conditioners for? Are they really that good? If so what brand should I use? 8-)
  19. Somebody on here said that Dick's and Gander Mountain carried them but the only kind that I have seen them carry is the 5" to 6" straight tail floating worms.
  20. I would probably get some terminal tackle even though it is not "EXOCTIC" like you said everybody probably needs more of it. 8-)
  21. I asked the same question recently. In my opinion I don't think you need a leader because I do not think the bass see braid that well. But I just recently switched back to strictly braided line with no leader on my football jigs. I would have to say try both setups and see which one gets you the most strikes. 8-)
  22. I'm not real sure about the tournament or the hotels but the fishing should be good in April.
  23. I use a Quantum Burst reel with a gear ratio of 6.3:1 and a Field and Stream 7 Ft. Meduim Heavy rod. Works great for me and even though Field and Stream isn't a "top" company it is still a good rod.
  24. Are you talking about Lake Norman, North Carolina?
  25. I would get the X-Tools pliers because they float if u happen to kick them off the boat. Also they are very good quality.
