  1. Haha, Bush by a long shot Old muscle car or modern truck
  2. If using live bait is cheating, than what do you call using 50lb braided line, a "fair advantage"?
  3. oh lol I've only caught like a 5 pounder...To cold up here for giants.
  4. "WHat to do w/ greenhouse shed out back somthing illegal or jaccuzzi" hehe....I would have opted for the garden ;D...shhh Cookies! Cool ranch or nacho cheese?
  5. To this day I've never saw bigger bass than the 2 I've lost{ >} using live bait. One hit a crawler dropped next to a pontoon {he actually inhaled my bobber first} and one lost off a super jumbo leech.
  6. Shore..I've tipted to many canoes. Fishing one of the great lakes or Ocean
  7. No gators here, but I do occasionaly run into black bears. It's a risk we take.
  8. "Why didn't they include Doug Hannon" I agree, I've actually "learned" the most from his videos and I think he is an absolute genius.
  9. baitcast-Curado, and my older Abu Garcias {tough as nails I swear} spinning- no real favorite but I love my shimano Sahara. Have to try Okuma's next.
  10. up north in Mn they have been hitting husky jerks on the edge of grass beds. 6-7 inch berkely original power worms skipped under docks has been hot too.
  11. This happened to me once too. I had about a 6lb pike on and I tried to hand land it. Got it to the boat, it ran, and the braided line sliced my finger open like a hot knife through butter.
  12. You can get alot of stuff for 5 bucks. Usually around here tackle stores have jig bodies priced at 4 for a buck and jig heads 4 for a buck. So...technically, you could walk out with 20 items for 5 bucks...not bad.
  13. I would fish by the dam with tube jigs, leadhead jigs and crankbaits.
  14. No, never tried a white frog. I'm sure they'd be ok since I have caught bass on white mice. But nowadays I throw dark topwaters like black or dark green. Hasn't really made a difference in one way or other.
  15. Yea I know how it is with no electronics, not so easy to find deep structure. But if the lake you fish has slop and or docks, you can still catch big summer bass. Or maybe you have some visible reed beds, those usually droff-off on the edges. And if you have all 3 of those structures I'd say hit the slop and docks during mid-day bright sun, and than hit the reed beds at low light.
  16. Yay, more Hookers!! Welcome to bass fishing paradise
  17. I wouldn't recommend killing it. When this happens I usually speed it up just a tad and I start to twitch it violently. That twitch will usually cause a second strike. Or I will burn it back in, cast to the spot and chug it on the surface, making the blade/s flop on the surface.
  18. Amen brother, well said!
  19. 99 and muggy here in Mn. I can deal with heat, humidity I can't. Your best bet on day's like this, don't fish. A heat stroke is not something you want.
  20. Coors DS or PSP
  21. Suthernprog is right, try a Heddon Moss Boss. It is the only true weedless topwater I have ever used. If you have thick enough slop on that lake bass will hit these things even during mid-day under bright sun.
  22. Crushed Minnkota or motorguide
  23. It's definitely the best bass site there is. I have like 20 fishing sites on my favorites but yet I only go here, ever.
  24. Jolie :-* Sinking or suspended
  25. Not fair!...PS3 I guess. Beer or booze
