  2. Tilt and Trim question

    I am new to this forum but I was scanning the other posts and thought maybe someone could answer a question for me. I have a 13' 1970 Boston Whaler that I have restored and I have a 40 hp 1999 Yamaha on it. I am looking at putting a CMC PT-35 tilt and trim with a hydraulic jack plate. Has anyone done something similar to this? My concern is that it will too heavy and make the boat sit wrong because of the amount of set back. Will this effect the transom? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
