    Can someone please help me with the interpretation of IGFA rules relating to the use of treble hooks on lures. Most "Rapala" type lures come standard with 2 treble hooks. IGFA rules seem to say that this is not allowed, unless used with a "plug". Please explain a "plug". Do I now need to go and replace all my treble hooks with single hooks? It does not seem practical or reasonable and why would most lures be sold this way if IGFA do not recognize or allow treble hooks.
