Just my luck!!
Hey everyone, Fished a lunker tournament at Glendale Lake, Central, PA. Could only use the trolling motor because my baby (25hp tohatsu) decided to take a big ole crap the other day.....(still can't find the cause) We fished for 2.5hrs without a bite. Then we ventured a little too far away from the dock and wouldn't u know it, hooked into a nice one.....not sure what won the tournament but mine was over 3lbs.....We didn't even try to make it back...figured we would enjoy the beautiful night and fish a little more....by the time we got back to the launch the weigh-in was over and everyone was gone...Kinda lost cause trying to hurry, going into the wind with a battery that I forgot to charge......Horrible....HORRIBLE pre-planning. My cousin was supposed to look at my motor but completely blew me off the other night so...as you can imagine......it was "one of those nights." Team "NO B.S." will be back out in full force tonight with charged batteries and hopefully be able to run my outboard.

25hp Tohatsu help
It's only a two stroke. The water was shooting out of the top at a steady stream. It very well could have been steam because it was odorless. I haven't been able to look at it since Sunday so I'm going to look at it Tuesday when I get off of work. I finally got a set of the muff things so I don't have to keep running my boat to the lake every time I try something different. My cousing, who is a certified mechanic, said he would look at it yesterday and today but totally blew me off like always. Ill keep everyone posted. I did take the llittle plastic reservoir off inside and it did appear to have some water in it. As of Sunday I was getting a "poof" sound out of the exhaust every once in awhile.

25hp Tohatsu help
Hello everyone. I have a 25hp tohatsu that is 3 years old....has been running well all season. Went out the other night and it was running great for awhile then just started losing RPM's...the motor wasnt missing, just felt like I was towing a house...I checked the plugs, checked the tank for water......anything I may be missing? It's also putting out a lot of white smoke. But like i said, it isnt missing or cutting out.....just wont idle or run like it is supposed to.

PA anglers:need help with Black Moshannon potential threat
Man I love that lake!! I fished there last year for a small club tournament and ripped it up! A lot of guys didn't so they took if off our tour this year! I still try to make it up at least twice a year! It's not far from Tyrone but when you have Raystown just down the hill, Glendale up the hill, and Canoe Creek just down the road, ya kinda forget about Black Moshannon. Keep us posted Jerry

I suck at this!
Also try to downsize your line....Here in Central PA the water is so clear I can't catch them on anything but 6#....sometimes even 4lb line!!

I suck at this!
Ahh....brings back so many memories.....If I wasn't so stubborn I would have given up a couple years ago. In 2004 I was off work with a fractured foot. Every day my dad would drive me (coz i had a standard shift truck) and my boat to the launch then pick up me up in the evening.....I can seriously remember going 3-4 days and not even getting a bite!! I would also fish the lunker tournaments and see guys bringing in nice fish and I didn't even have a bite! Stubborn me just kept my head down and kept fishing.....things have gotten a lot better since then thank God!! Just downsize, slow down, speed up, whatever you can do.....Good luck and don't give up.

Who's up for a PA meet up? Raystown James Creek Launch Sept. 25th 8am meet
8am is good for me. Had a club tournament Saturday out if Aitch. Had to work for the fish but it was a good day. Caught a 5.3lb largemouth across from the Aitch launch just before sun-up.

Who's up for a PA meet up? Raystown James Creek Launch Sept. 25th 8am meet
I think Aitch will be the best launch because there are places you can run your boat up on shore while waiting to trailer your boat or in the mornings....It's also a central location. Just my opinion but we will go anywhere.

Club tournament at Lake Raystown, PA
Had a club tournament at Lake Raystown today. Fished 5am until 11am. Had a pretty good day. 1st fish of the day was a 5lb 3oz largemouth. Caught a few others and ended up winning the tournament. The lake was packed with pleasure boaters and it took me at least an hour to get my boat loaded onto the truck due to the long line at the dock. Club tournament at Glendale in two weeks....any fishing reports would be appreciated!!

Lunkerville Casting Call: Anchorage, Alaska
I just got done watching an episode my cuz DVR'd for me.....a guy catching some nice largemouth in New York. Ive wrote an email to DirectTV and also tell them every time I pay my bill with the automated system that they need to carry WFN!!! Keep up the good work Mike. Ever come to Central PA write me a message....although I don't know why anyone would come to central PA to film a show! It would be a great challange though!

Elite Series
Im stuck at work today instead of fishing so I've been checking in on the elites today. Seems that basscast and Basstrakk are having problems due to bad cell service in the area.....That plain old STINKS!!! I love watching basscast!

Catching yesterdays fish?
I watched an episode of "A day on the lake" that was on ESPN 2. Bill Lowen said that he always finds out where there are tournaments held and finds out if the fish are released from there or boated back out into the lake and released. He called them "retread" areas. He didn't really give a time frame as to when the bass were caught. I would definetely put it on my list of spots to fish. I know Ive caught the same bass twice in the same day. Must have had something "special" going on in it's pinky sized brain! Good luck

Big tournament today
HAHA...free....well, almost! I was only supposed to work until 4am which would have been fine.....but the extra overtime (pay good, fish gooder!!) Just looking forward to this tournament for a while now. Put a lot of time in the past two weeks getting ready for it.

Big tournament today

Crankbait Tuning Questions
I bought a strike king crank bait that I can absolutely not get to run good at all......That thing has had more tune ups than my truck!! There must be something wrong internally.....

swim jig
Thanks guys for all the help! Do you guys prefer to yo-yo or straight retrieve? Or let the bass tell you what they want?
