Hey yall, Im pretty new to the forum and live in GA fishin mainly decent sized weedy ponds. Its summer and I like throwing a lizard and other soft plastics mid-day when it gets hot and its GA so it does get hot, and produce well. But I just want your opinions on colors rigging, do you use weights, weights with a bead, screw in bullet weights, free sliding bullet wieghts, colors, technique, etc. Thanks!

senkos wacky or regular and top water poppers produce on all ponds for me.

ive been fishin lanier all my life, and the fish are always in some place different than the day before. ill find em with a crank or spinnerbait the slow it up with a swim bait or c-rig with a zoom plastic. ive had pretty good luck with that in 08' but lately ive been fishing for stripers at lanier.

tried the foam earplugs in the tube today, worked out excellent caught 14 largemouths in 2 hrs out of a local pomd i fish at. i fished it carolina rig.

watermelon w/ black flake as said many times and 193 which is a craw fish color.

well said senkoshawn, well said. that bout sums it up for me. best thing ive done is put on a senko.
