  11. I have a 51E for sale on the flea market for $110 TYD. I bought it from American Lagacy (have receipt)and it is NIB. I only took it out to look at it and don't like the smaller size fit in my hand. Looks like a nice reel other than that.

I'm looking for a 3/16 oz. jig with weedguard similar to the ones used on a SK bitsy bug only I want a bigger hook...a 2/0 or 3/0. Do they make a smaller size jig with a deep throat hook? That would be great. Anyone know where I can find these or something similar? Thanks
  14. Hi- I joined this site in 2009 but haven't posted much. I don't talk much either. I just started fishing in lakes in 2008 when I bought my first bass boat, a 99 BassTracker 175 w/40 hp. I have since moved up to an 04 Tracker w/90 hp. I enjoy this forum and appreciate all the knowledgeable members. I hope to contribute to the forum and learn more about bass fishing. I recently made a purchase in the flea market from Chris at Tech, great transaction, thanks Chris. I am still trying to get my arsenal just right. I live in SouthWest Virgina and fish mostly deep clear rocky resevoirs and streams. If I can be of any help to anyone, please let me know. Brian
  15. Wish I could give a report but UPS broke my rod. They tore the tube clean into and taped it back, bent two guides and broke them loose from the pole. The dealer said they would have to wait on UPS to say they were going to pay for them before they ship me another. Does that sound right?
  16. Thanks... I fish the finesse jig mainly at night making short cast to the bank. I have a hard time making short cast on a baitcaster so I use a spinning reel. I ordered the Savvy this weekend while it was on sale so I'll try it and let y'all know what I think. Kinda going at it blind, this will be my first Dobyns. Should be here this week.
  17. Upgrading my finesse jig rod from a Vendetta to a Dobyns Savvy. Would the Savvy SS693SF be a good rod for throwing finesse jigs 1/8-1/4 oz. I fish mainly clear rocky lakes with little vegatation. Thanks.
  18. Thinking about ordering some treble hooks and changing out the hooks on some of my cranks. What is the typical size treble for a medium diving crankbait?
  19. I keep mine in the original bags and stuff them in a large soft sided cooler. Dig thru them when I need something. Plus they are protected from the heat.
