Hi Everyone, I've enjoyed fishing my whole life. My early fishing experiences, fishing with my Dad catching panfish and the occasional LMB, to ice fishing with my grandfather ( no gas augers...), fishing with my brothers and sister in the lakes in Northern Wisconsin all the way up to Ontairio for smallies , walleyes, northerns, and muskies. I've fished Lake Erie ( Port Clinton area)for the past 25 years, Lake Michigan for perch, Lake Trout, and Brown Trout, the intercoastal around Goodland for Snook, redfish , mackerel...(to many to list). Got to on my first deep sea trip off of Naples FL and caught my first Red and Black Grouper, as well as King Mackerel.
To me, a part of a perfect day is getting up early, driving when the traffic is light, watching the sunrise and dropping the boat into the water, heading into a quiet lake to watch the day begin. Catching fish is almost secondary....
That being said, I'm still looking for my 10# LMB, 12#walleye, 25#muskie.... :'(
I've been reading some of the posts in the forum...wow...what a wealth of information! Thanks for your time.
