  2. any you guys know where to buy antique rods/reels and fly rods/reels? wanna decorate my new office in antique rods/reels looking for a good site for it?
  3. seems like a steal,id buy it.
  4. ah muddy the oh so great expert sarcastic one ..it oozes hahaha ;D ,,,yea and he also charges 50-60 for one when they cost a fraction of that to make...time yea but cheaply made anyone can do what hes doing go on tackleunderground and look at other ppls baits alot are just as good if not better.speaking of wheres your handmade/tooled tackle muddy???since you got the mouth to flap and jaw to jack???
  5. here infact ill tell you the process i made them "wiseone" i either used wood but prefer pvc decking i cut the blockes into squares then i cut them into 2 halves then i double stick tape them together shape then on a belt sander then i cut the angle for the swim action with a miter saw then i pull the double tape apart and mount my hardware between the two pieces then i gorilla glue them then i epoxy them let it dry on the lathe epoxy again sand then airbrush and clearcoat multi. times....theres my "commercial" swimbait made in my comercial garage
  6. yea then who are they commercialy made by??? what commercial mass produced swimbaits use those huge eyelet and eyelethook hardware i used mine are big enough to be gaudy, most are tiny hardware i.e tru tung.,go onto tackleunderground.com where i learned how to do these by watching tort. videos and posts and talking to them and go look at all their homemade stuff lookes simmilar huh why not tell them their stuff is all commmercialy made to o'wise one.you doubt ppls skills because they take a hobby and make things that look identical or better to whatever comercial brand your thinking of,either way i dont care got nuttion to prove to you seeing that you seem to know it all.and im not aware of to many swimbait makes maken 8" wakebaits like the ones i did.ask me to take any pics of them you want any angle any close up and you can then go compaire them to your "commercial" brand ..d.bag

  12. one quick warning no biggie though sometimes to open the side cover of bps reels you have to press in the little basspro logo and turn the cover counterclock wise sometimes this button can be hard to push in,if so give it a lil squirt of wd-40 ive also heard giving it a lil soak in mild warm water will help to,but just a heads up.
  13. i got the shimano sahara, symetre, saros, stradic and sustain in sizes 2500-3000 all great love them all spool sizes vary for diff. companies to save weight on theryre reels any shimano reel is great i also have team daiwa tierra and sol that are great,i also love my pflueger supreme xt all depends on what yer lookn for and what yer fishing for the saros is pretty close to a pflueger in size id say but alot smoother so is the new stradic.but good luck on your choice theres alot out there.
