  1. Thanks for the reply's guys, I got the schematic from BPS and the reel is back together and ready to go (for free)
  2. If you try and do it yourself and destroy it, you obviously didn't fix it. How would you know how to fix it the next time, wouldn't you just destroy it again trying to fix it again? You did it yourself and it wasn't done right, how can having something "repaired" by someone else be any worse? No, ill learn from my mistakes. the more I familarize myself with something the more knowledge I'll gain, even taking apart a fishing reel will help you understand the engineering behind things which will help you fix other things. My brother always says " take it to the professionals" yeah well alot of good that will do you when your out on the lake away from the, "professionals"
  3. Nah, I'd rather do it myself and learn, than to pay someone to do it for me, even if I destroy it in the process and if I ever have a problem I will know how to fix it. Plus if you want something done right you do it yourself, iv'e had bad experience with having things "repaired", never again.

  7. Ok, I have a rick clunn RCX 1000 H baitcaster i80.photobucket.com/albums/j193/DieHardD/RickClunnBaitcast.jpg and I took it apart lastnight to grease it up. I had everything layout neatly for reassembly, well the cat jumped on the table and scrambled all my parts all over, now I cant seem to put the handle assembly back together correctly. does anyone have this reel or can give me a copy of the instructions (I dont have them anymore, also theres a litte greyish/silver peice of plastic with a ring on it, I looked for a while but cant figure out where that goes either, arhhgg somebody help :'(
