  1. I take 2 big soft tackle boxes with me some of the stuff I've never used. One and a half is full of plastics and jigs, the rest is crank baits, jerk baits, spinner baits and top water. I wonder if that actually hurts the amount of fish I catch because I switch so much, or (the one I want to believe) it gives me options to try different things. I only take 4 rods with me which are: 1. JIG 2.TEXAS RIG 3.WEIGHTLESS 4.CRANKBAIT & SPINNERBAIT So there is not a lot of tying unless I'm changing leader or colors. Should I leave some at home or not.
  2. A really nice fish. Good job.

  5. 4-14 picture on left Wave Crawdude 4-04 caught it 50 yards after 4-14 Wave Crawdude 4-00 week before Black and Blue jig
  6. I will do that thanks.
  7. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it.
  8. Where did you find that map at it sounds like something I could use.
  9. I have two batteries on my boat I hook one to the trolling motor and one to the fish finder and lights. If I kill the trolling motor battery just switch them because the fish finder and lights don't take much to run. So to answer your questiuon deep cycle for me to have a back up battery on the boat.
  10. I second the Sheetz Chili death dog with chili, mustard, onions and dill pickles.
  11. And that opened the door for McCutchen. That trade made a TON of sense for the Pirates. Where were they going this year? We are sick of "rebuilding" its been 15 years, all I want now is to play .500 baseball.
  12. Try to Texas rig your tube like you would a worm with some weight. For your jigs try a lighter weight jig or a grass jig which has a smaller and pointed head.
  13. It definitely will be a resource. Welcome.
  14. Wow I had no idea there was that many, I don't fish there right now but after I get my new boat I probably will make trips like that then. Is there a list through the fish commission or do you have to find them for yourself?
  15. How many electric only reservoirs are in in PA. I tried to find a list online and can't find it. There is alot less pressure on those waters usually. Wilmore and Beaverdale are the two I usually fish.
  16. You will like it here.
  17. Welcome.
  18. I just used watermelon Tiki sticks and had a good day on a clear reservoir.
  19. A jig looks like a crayfish on the bottom swimming away from a fish. When I fish them I don't really hop it like most people I drag it on the bottom to make a lot of sound and maybe kick up a little mud. I love fishing them, this is the first year I really fished them and having a lot of success. I caught a PB on one this year the first time I fished them.
