  1. Just wondering what knot is best for when your putting new line on a reel. And does anybody have any tricks to make it easier to do it yourself without having someone to hold the spool of line for you? Thanks in advance.
  2. I forgot about the concord river. Has tons of good sized bass along with plenty of other fish.
  3. The cambridge water reservoir has some nice bass. My friend went the other day and caught 3 2lbs in about an hour from shore. There is a decent amount of weeds so you would want to either texas rig senkos or a nice frog works.
  4. Going out on thursday and was wondering what people are having luck with. Past few times crankbaits and drop shot 5'' senkos have been working for me. Any input would be great.

  6. Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone had any tips on fishing in the rain in terms of lures. I've heard darker colors produce more and would top water baits be useless because of the noise they are already hearing or what? Thanks.
  7. Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and the area and I have a couple questions if anyone could answer them that would be greatly appreciated. I have gone to the Quabbin with good success, but the boat rentals are getting pricey. I am looking for some good shoreline fishing, preferably near UMass, but anywhere in central MA would be great. Thanks for the help.
