SW Florida Kid

My name is JC. I'm born and raised in SW Florida. I've lived on a freshwater canal all my life and I love bass fishing. I grew up fishing from my dock and my canoe. Currently I have a 12" Fiberglass Bass Boat which I fish from. I primarily go for the freshwater just because it's what I know and I have a lot of fun in freshwater. My favorite lure right now is the Rapala X-Rap. I've gotten so many hits on it, it's been crazy. This past weekend the fish were all over it. I'm going out fishing again next weekend, so I'll give a report on how good it works and how I use it. I found a new spot on a little lake. My buddy and I usually just take turns... 1 of us trolls around the banks and rocks and the other 1 casts under the brazilian peppers and other trees hanging over the water. I grew up using worms.... later on I used live bait... now I just use lures. I found lures to be the most attractive bait to bass.
