    I am looking for a casting swimbait rod. I will be throwing 1/2oz. 4" swimbait. I will be using 10lb florocarbon. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I need so help deciding what to get. I am looking at the Humminbird 597ci and 788c. I am really wanting the GPS feature for this upcoming nightfishing season. They both look like quality units with similar features. I was wondering if anyone has either of these units and would care to share your input. The price difference is around $80. Thanks

  5. Spinning Rod for Medium Size Crankbaits

    What would you reccomend for a good spinning rod for mediun size cranking? I am leaning toward an St croix avid series 7ft medium action (I can't find one to check out) but also like a 6'10" MH crucial with a TN handle (local sporting goods store has one). What length, action, and power should I get?
