  1. I have stayed at quite a few places around Fork. All of them were 'rustic' but completely acceptable. My wife is not at all the camping type (or fishing type for that matter) and she found them to be just fine. You won't find 5 star places for sure, but as long as she can remember/accept that she is out in the country....she should be fine in most places. Here are the ones that I stay at most often: Lake Fork Marina Hook Line & Sinker Oak Ridge Marina Trophy Lodge (friend stayed here actually, but we hung out there for a few hours) Minnow Bucket (not my favorite, but breakfast in the little diner is good) Holiday Village - I think you have to be a member or something to get a room here (a friend rented the space for us), but a great place to stay.
