Yeah I spoke with Lowrance did they’re claim to fit and it’s junked.... hard reset, update and nothing... I replaced it and got my a HB helix 7 Mega DI.

I called lowrance today about my Hook 2 7TS and she was going over my depth finder and stuff... told me to power it up and read her what it’s doing... I told her it’s not in the water and she said that’s fine doesn’t need to be and will give me reading either way???? but reading up on depth finder and running out of water from what I’m reading is a big no no and can burn the transducer up..... can anyone help enlighten me??

That I have not... dielectric grease?? I have not Aren’t you post to feel like a pulse or hear clicking?? I have neither.

I had this depth finder for a year now and it just won’t properly read for me... lowrance said it’s my transducer position but I tried everything... like today no depth or bottom is given... Trying to get a better photo

I prefer Bass Pro XPS flouro... I’m told it’s Seagar Invinx... not sure but always had great louck with it.

I almost went last Sunday... went to Curtis and Ruffins.... manage 1 tiny bass on wacky.... this Sunday think I’m going to Hope Springs Marina.

I understand the budget and sometimes it can damper things... but if can hold off and add more funds say in a month I would try too... I know I’m very impatient and a must have now attitude. I almost bought a Lews laxer speed spool. I needed something with a low gear ratio. I ended up not getting it. I do need to get a reel as well so I can put my Curado back on my Crucial. Bought a new rod at the outdoor show and was giving it a try. I’m holding off cause I want to have deep crank set up first and I don’t want to just settle for anything but who knows I might just get a good decent reel for the rod I purchased at the show. I have an original PQ that crapped on me this year... I’m going to try and swap some parts from a Carbon Lite reel. my wife has a Black Max BC. Decent cheap reel. update: I just read about your marriage and hope everything is well...

I love fishing with crankbaits... The Bandit 200 been a great lure! Couple of weeks ago I landed a 4.5 on a Strikeking 6XD out in 25’ of water. I don't do anything crazy when cranking. Just cast and reel.. every now and then I might pause or give a light tap..

Sunday was real good out on Lake Mooney in Va. I caught this nice 4.5 on deep water cranking. My nephew a 1.3 on wacky.

Yea it’s definitely hard to see.. the deeper part of the lake is clearers in the deep end but must travel to back of lake to get there.
