some people just cant use a baitcaster and/or like them. nothing wrong with that, myself i cant stand spinning reels because i cant seem to use them worth a crap. just use what works for you and have fun thats what fishing is about anyway.

you could just remove the treble hooks.

i would get the abu garcia silvermax and pair it with a bionic blade, lightning rod shock or amp rod.

oh yes but i been gettting em on the junebug.

ive been having your same problems with the spro, i think ill stick with my snagproof frog never had any problems with it.

my PB a 7lb smallie came off a 4in zoom junebug lizard fishing a very small creek that noone even fishes. never underestimate a lizard or a small creek.

you just cant beat the zebco 33 and if you want the worlds best combo put it on an ugly stik

I think his point was that they make some very good reels that get overlooked. I have a couple solenes and the vision XLT and I think they are the s##t myself.

I would go with the pinnacle solene on a lightning rod. alot better than the black max and cheaper.

my only dislike is that if they get bent and you try to bend them back in place they break. >
